Voice for Change Is Looking for Volunteer Administrative Staff

 

Voice for Change is a registered charity that provides a range of services for women, men and young people affected by domestic abuse, as victim, perpetrator or both, including those in current or past heterosexual or same-sex relationships. Abuse may include physical or sexual violence, threats, control, manipulation, humiliation, stalking or other forms of domestic or relationship abuse.

The charity is looking for volunteer administrative staff. You will be joining a small but passionate team of professionals determined to embrace the targets and challenges ahead.

Volunteer Fundraiser

You will be involved in all areas of fundraising. You will need to be fully computer literature with good understanding of databases and how they are used in a fundraising environment. As a good communicator you will act as the first point of call for fundraising enquiries. Your experience and ability to organise yourself will ensure that you are able to cope with a busy workload and ideally you will have experience of working in an office environment.

As a proactive member of the team, with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiasm for finding new information, you will be able to work under your own initiative. You will have strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle many tasks at once. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce your own correspondence.

Administrator

You will be involved in all areas of administration, including bookkeeping and accounts. You will need to be fully computer literature with good understanding of spreadsheets and databases.  As a good communicator you will communicate with service users, volunteers, and other agencies.  Your experience and ability to organise yourself will ensure that you are able to cope with a busy workload and ideally you will have experience of working in an office environment.
