Voluntary Sector Trends – Please Complete Our Survey

LCVS is taking part in a major new survey of the voluntary sector – and we need your help.

We’d like you to take part in a major new survey of the voluntary sector in Merseyside and the rest of Northern England. Its purpose is to get a good understanding of the general wellbeing and mood of the sector and to see how it is preparing for the future in a period of significant social and economic change. The survey is being undertaken by the University of Durham, and is funded by IPPR and Garfield Weston Foundation.

The survey only takes 15 minutes to complete and you won’t need to check up any facts and figures to do it – hopefully you’ll find it quite interesting too.

Whether you are a large or small organisation or group, whether you are thriving, struggling or going along as normal we need you need to complete the survey so that a comprehensive picture can be built on how the voluntary sector is faring in Liverpool and Merseyside more widely.

Please could you also forward the email to people you know in the voluntary and community sector and to social enterprises to help us get the best possible set of responses.

Follow this link to the survey questionnaire where you can find more detail on who is doing the work and why.

The headline results from the study across Northern England will be published before Christmas, and then results for our area will be published early in 2017 – these can all be downloaded at no cost.

Please do take part in the study, as it will help build a very clear understanding of what the sector needs to help it succeed in future.
