Daisy Inclusive UK is a charity based in Everton that supports disabled adults, children and families everyday and they need your help!
At Daisy Inclusive UK, they will be starting out their mini smile inclusion club from 24 July – 1 September 2023 where children aged 5-14 years old can come and join in the fun, engaging and inclusive activities whilst school’s out.
Their activities & plans vary throughout the 6 weeks, it may include:
- Weekly Character Visits
- Trips out: Chester Zoo, Southport Cabbies Trip, Crosby Beach, Laser Tag, Bowling & Imagine That! & Trampoline Park
- Summer Fun Day (Final day of half term) which includes, inflatable assault course, colour run, Circus Frank and more!
- Bouncy Castle Fun
- Arts & Crafts
- Inclusive sports (Not forgetting their Olympics Competition Day!)
- And much more!
To make their club run effectively for children with disabilities/additional needs, they are looking for enthusiastic, motivational & caring individuals who would love to volunteer as a playworker for the summer. No experience is required, just lots of energy & time to dedicate to the wonderful people who attend Daisy. All they ask is that you are reliable, confident and willing to participate and help out.
If you are a parent or carer who would love to volunteer, then if you have children aged 5 – 14 years old then they are more than welcome to attend the club whilst you help out.
You can choose your own schedule which should be able to fit around their opening times which are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays from 12 – 4 PM.
