Vauxhall Community Law & Information Centre is a small community-based Law Centre and has been in existence since 1973 serving the community of the City of Liverpool. We have recently been awarded funding for a new Welfare Rights Caseworker who will be joining our small staff team.
Welfare Rights Caseworker – Job Description
Role purpose
To assist in providing an efficient and effective Welfare Benefits advice service to assess eligibility, maximise income and review and appeal decisions as appropriate.
Required to provide advice through various service delivery points, including outreach locations.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Accountability: Accountable to the Law Centre Solicitor
Term: Subject to funding. (12 months currently, additional funding being sought)
Salary: up to £27,050 p.a. +5% Pension Contribution
The closing date is Tuesday 26th March 2019, at noon.
Interviews are planned to take place on Thursday 28th March 2019.
