West Derby Vaccination Programme – call for volunteer marshalls

The West Derby Covid-19 vaccination programme goes live this week, with 900 people over the age of 80 expected to receive a coronavirus vaccination.

Liverpool CCG’s workforce is mobilising to ensure that this programme is a success and that as many of West Derby’s vulnerable population as possible can visit West Derby Medical Centre for their injection.

To make this happen, they are in need of volunteers to help marshall and direct patients – from the car park to the medical centre, as well as to and from the various vaccination rooms around the centre.

Delivery of vaccines will take place on either the 13, 14 or 15 January 2021. Beyond that, a 3 day clinic will run, in order to facilitate vaccinations of all eligible patients.
