Worldwide Radiology Vacancy – Volunteer and Office Manager, self employed

Joint volunteer network manager and office manager, part-time, self-employed.

Worldwide Radiology is ​a small UK registered international charity​ committed to improving the health of patients in low income regions of the world. As a joint volunteer network and office manager you will have a key role in ​helping us build sustainable foundations and ensure sustainable growth of the organisation.

In your role as volunteer network manager, you will b​e responsible for developing and managing relationships with existing volunteers, both national and international, and for growing a network of new volunteers from all Radiology related professions. You will also be supporting the development and implementation of their training and organising their overseas placements, in collaboration with our project leads. You will play an important role in helping to connect, inspire and mobilise people to achieve the aims of strengthening Radiology capacity around the world.

In your role as office manager, you will be responsible for general office management, supporting the director in the day to day running of the organisation, as well as the fundraising and communications team and the Board of Trustees. You will not be responsible for contracting or financial administration.

At Worldwide Radiology, we are committed to a shared vision of improved health of patients in developing countries and hope to find a candidate who shares this passion. You will ideally​ have a passion or background in international health development and have some experience in developing, managing and motivating volunteers and/or charity organisational management. Previous HR experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We are open to supporting additional training for the successful candidate to develop the role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is proactive and self-directed, can take on new challenges, meets deadlines, and is highly organised. Excellent communication, writing skills and cultural sensitivity are central to working with our international team. We are a paperless organisation using web-based filing, task sharing and educational platforms, requiring good IT skills.
