Would you like to inspire and empower local teenage girls?

The Girls’ Network is currently recruiting female mentors!  This is an opportunity to join a network of inspiring, professional women who are committing to 10 hours over an academic year to provide 1:1 mentoring sessions to 14-19 year old girls, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Amy Metcalfe of The Girls Network said, “Thanks to our mentors, our mentees in Liverpool have experienced amazing impact from completing work experience placements to finding, and using, their voice! As a result of their mentoring sessions, our girls record feeling significantly more prepared to pursue their chosen career, having increased confidence in themselves and their ability as well as feeling more optimistic about their future and what they can achieve.”

To continue offering girls in Merseyside the opportunities mentoring provides, The Girls Network needs women with at least 3 years professional experience to apply to become mentors by visiting www.thegirlsnetwork.org.uk.

There are only 2 training dates left this year, so if you are interested please complete your application before 1st December!

If you have any questions, please contact amy.metcalfe@thegirlsnetwork.org.uk for more information.
