WoW is seeking budding writers for Write to Work course

Applications are open for the next intake of Writing on the Wall’s Write to Work course. A free writing development course led by industry professionals, Write to Work supports unemployed learners in the Liverpool City Region (LCR) to develop key writing skills, build confidence and take the next positive steps into work or further education.

To apply you must be unemployed, have the legal right to live and work in the UK, be 18 years or older and be living in LCR (including the areas of Wirral classed as Merseyside). The course is online so you will also need access to the internet.

This will be a friendly, interactive 10 week online course delivered by industry professionals through Zoom group workshops. At the end of the course, participants’ work is published in an anthology, which will then be sold in local bookstores, Waterstones and online.

One to one mentoring will be provided to all participants.

Applications are open until 12 noon, Friday 25 September 2020.

For full details concerning eligibility and for information about how to apply, visit the Writing on the Wall website.
