The vision for NHS England as evidenced in the Future in Mind Strategy (link for more details Future in mind) is “Promoting, protecting and improving our children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing”.
The Young Persons Advisory Service (YPAS) is seeking to recruit professionally qualified practitioners who have experience of working with the mental health and emotional well-being needs of children, young people and families. This is an excellent opportunity that will allow for the undertaking of funded academic training and salaried for a one year period. As part of Liverpool’s transformation planning and workforce development objectives of CYPIAPT (Children and Young Peoples Improving Access to Psychological Therapies), Liverpool’s CAMHS partnership is striving to increase access to evidence-based parenting interventions.
YPAS is a Liverpool based Youth, Information, Advice and Counselling Service (YIACS); established in 1966, the charity provides a wide range of support and therapeutic interventions to address the mental health and emotional well-being needs of children, young people and families.
