YPAS is a Merseyside based charity which was established in 1966. They serve a population of over 150,000 children and young people. They support children and young people aged 5 – 25 years and families to address their mental health and emotional well-being difficulties.
Job Overview
This Trainee Parenting Practitioner post will help you develop skills in evidence-based parenting interventions to support parents through group programmes and one to one coaching which support parents feel confident in helping their children’s behaviour, personal and social development. Encouraging and supporting parents to build resilience and encourage positive life choices.
You will work alongside their dynamic Wellbeing Team and Therapy Teams. Their teams are a multi-disciplinary team of Therapists, Youth Workers, Social Workers, Parenting Practitioners and Children and Young People Wellbeing Practitioners (CYWP).
