YPAS is a Merseyside based charity, established in 1966. They serve a population of over 150,000 children and young people. They support children and young people aged 5 – 25 years and families to address their mental health and emotional well-being difficulties.
Job Overview
Are you an accredited counsellor, social worker, mental health nurse, or occupational therapist looking to develop your skills and competencies within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) setting? They are seeking dedicated professionals who can demonstrate a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in working therapeutically with young people facing emotional wellbeing and mental health challenges. A minimum of two years’ experience working with children and young people is essential.
Applicants who do not hold one of the recognised core professions listed above but have a minimum of four years’ experience working in a mental health service delivering therapy may be considered for eligibility via the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes (KSA) framework, based on the standards developed by the BABCP https://babcp.com/Knowledge-Skills-Attitudes
