YPAS – Trainee CYWPs (Children and Young People Wellbeing Practitioners)

Posts available: 12.
Term: 12-months fixed term (Permanent pending funding).
Salary: NJC point 20 – £28,371.
Hours per week: 35 hours.
Location: University of Manchester 2 days a week, the remaining 3 will be based YPAS Community Hubs and peripatetic across Liverpool GPs.

YPAS (Young Person’s Advisory Service) is a Merseyside based charity which was established in 1966. They serve a population of over 150,000 children and young people. They support children and young people aged 5 – 25 years and families to address their mental health and emotional well-being difficulties.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to gain a postgraduate certificate in evidence-based interventions as a trainee Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CYWP), validated by the University of Manchester. Go and join their dynamic team at Young Person’s Advisory Service!

These new training posts will commence in January 2024. The posts are part of the Children and Young People’s IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) initiative.
