YPAS – Well Being Team Lead – Central Hub

Term: Full-Time.
Salary: NJC: Scale SO 2 SCP 25-27 (£30,095.00 – £31,895.00).
Hours per week: 35 hours.
Reporting to: YIACS Development Manager.
Location: Central Hub – 36 Bolton Street, Liverpool L3 5LX.

YPAS offers a wide range of support, well-being and therapeutic service for children, young people and families in Merseyside. Established in 1966; YPAS is a charity that supports children, young people, and families to address their mental health and emotional well-being difficulties.

Job Description

  • To work collaboratively with the South hub and North Hub Team Leads to ensure seamless access to early intervention, prevention wellbeing services and alternative crisis services across 3 mental health hubs.
  • To ensure the quality and consistency in working practice and clarity of work-related tasks and targets across teams.
  • To support the multi-disciplinary team of wellbeing practitioners.

Team Lead Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a service leadership team
  • To provide six weekly operational supervision to support (maximum of 10 staff members)
  • Ensure staff adhere to the relevant policies and procedures
  • To act as the communication conduit between wellbeing team and management
  • To provide clinical leadership to the Wellbeing team
  • To ensure the staff team feel heard, supported and motivated
  • To ensure staff members are working towards the strategic goals of the organisation as guided by management and CEO
  • To ensure staff members understand the purpose of routine outcome and embed them in their practice
  • To enable the ongoing professional development and reflective practice of staff
  • To work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure commissioned services are delivered in relation to funding specification
  • To consider creative methods to address gaps in provision
  • To ensure the Wellbeing team record and enter data in accordance with YPAS’s patient management system (IAPTUS)
  • To foster positive working relationships with partner agencies
  • To ensure the wellbeing team follow the clinical management process
  • To coordinate and schedule team meetings and development days.
