The LCVS Capacity Building Team has experienced and knowledgeable bid writers and we have the skills needed to make your application for funding more likely to succeed. However, we also recognise that the high demand from local organisations for support with their funding proposal is counter balanced by the fact that such support can be time-consuming and costly.
For this reason LCVS now plans to offer a small number of Liverpool based not-for-profit organisations the chance each month to have their funding proposal reviewed for free and to receive face-to-face feedback on their application.
To be considered for this service you must have a fully drafted proposal (and budget if applicable), that you are able to send to us at least one week before the scheduled feedback surgery and two weeks ahead of the deadline for submission to the funder. Please note that the number of proposals that we are able to review each month is extremely limited and we expect demand for the service to be high. As such, only proposals that have been fully worked up by the applicant organisation will be considered for review and we cannot guarantee that any proposal will be selected for appraisal and feedback.
To be considered for this service, please e-mail info@lcvs.org.uk with ‘LCVS Proposal Review Surgery’ on the subject line. Be sure to include the name of your organisation. If your proposal is shortlisted for review then you will be notified and asked to send us any relevant guidance/ supporting documentation prior to the review being undertaken. If you do not receive confirmation that your proposal has been selected, then please assume that it will not be reviewed.
