Free Research for Organisations

Are you a voluntary and community organisation? Would you be interested in a research project to support your aims?

Interchange is a registered charity that connects Higher Education Institutions with voluntary and community organisations for the purpose of research and work-based learning research projects.

A work-based learning research project can provide assistance with a specific task planned by the organisation. It can provide evidence for organisations to assist with business planning, annual reports, funding applications, improving services and becoming more sustainable.

The students are third year students mainly from the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology within the School of Law and Social Justice at the University of Liverpool. Students will start with their organisation in September 2017 and produce a final report in May 2018.

There is no charge for the service but organisations should meet the basic travel expenses incurred by the students and to pay for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) if required.

If you have a project idea please complete stage 1 form and stage 2 form. Email both forms to interchange@liv.ac.uk no later than Thursday 13 April 2017.

If you have any queries or would like to talk to the Interchange Co-ordinator before completing the forms, call 0151 794 2986 on Monday to Wednesday.

The project is mainly for charitable organisations in the Greater Merseyside area. Organisations from outside the area can be considered. Contact Interchange to discuss.
