Imagine Independence Vacancy – Support Worker for Learning Disabilities/Mental Health

Imagine Independence is a charity that promotes recovery and inclusion, enabling and supporting people to live full and independent lives. We are proud to have the support of up to 150 volunteers and over 200 staff members to help those who need us.

Position: Support Worker for Learning Disabilities/Mental Health
x3 full-time posts at 37.5 hours per week working a rolling rota that includes waking nights
x1 part-time post at 15 hours

Accommodation Site Tuebrook area and Anfield area, Liverpool
Salary: £15,596.75 p.a. pro rata for part time
All posts are temporary 6 month contracts with a view to extending

We are looking for a professional, dedicated and experienced Support Worker who can offer commitment to delivering high quality community-based care to service users living in the Liverpool area. You will have experience of working with people with mental health and/or learning disability needs. You will need excellent communication skills and be flexible in approach. You will have a positive attitude and be non-judgmental.

It is essential to the role that you have a committed approach towards maintaining confidentiality protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.
