YPAS – Wellbeing Practitioners (CYP)

YPAS offers a range of wellbeing and therapeutic services for children aged 5 -15 years, young people aged 16-25 years and their families in Liverpool. Established in 1966 YPAS is a charitable sector organisation that supports children, young people and families with their mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties. They deliver thier services in primary schools, secondary schools and 3 locality hubs across the city.

They are now seeking to recruit Wellbeing Practitioners.

Wellbeing Practitioners support children and young people with their mental health and wellbeing difficulties by providing a range of clinical interventions, psychosocial education and wrap-around support. Delivering across three community hubs, schools and clinical networks, wellbeing practitioners work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with cross-sector services within health, education and social care.

Requirements: Social work/ mental health/youth work or IAG qualification to degree level or equivalent is essential, as is post qualification experience
Salary: NJC SCP: 20 – 22 (£25,991 – £27,041)
Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term (possibility of permanent – pending funding)
Hours: 35 hours per week
