Workshop
Friday 19 September 2025 at 10:30 AM
The LCVS Grants Team will be delivering a CIF workshop via Zoom to go through the eligibility criteria and answer any questions you may have.
This workshop will be particularly useful if this is the first time your organisation has applied for CIF.
Click here to register your place.
Please note: this workshop will be recorded.
The LCVS Community Impact Fund (CIF) is opening soon on Friday 19 September 2025.
Deadline: Friday 17 October 2025 at 5 PM.
Our CIF grant programme provides funding for local VCFSE groups whose projects fit the priority areas of: Health and Wellbeing, Education, Income Stability & Arts and Culture.
Organisations can apply for grants of up to £3,000 providing they meet the eligibility criteria.
We strongly recommend you read the accompanying application form and eligibility criteria guidance and/or watch the recording of the Autumn CIF workshop before submitting an application, to check if your organisation is eligible to apply for this round.
We are using a new grant management software system for the first time (Plinth) so, if you have applied for CIF before, you will notice that the form is presented differently and includes some additional questions.
To aid you in completing the CIF application form, please click here to find the application form guidance.
We have made some changes to the eligibility criteria for applying for CIF regarding how many times your organisation can apply across the year-to-year grant cycle. Click here to read the eligibility criteria here.
For any enquiries, please contact: Steph Gregory at Stephanie.Gregory@lcvs.org.uk or Becky Lazare at Becky.Lazare@lcvs.org.uk.

CIF Success Stories
Builder Book UK
For Builder Book UK’s 2024 campaign, they received funding of almost £3000 from the LCVS Community Impact Fund. This was used towards the printing of 10k eco-friendly STEAM-based packs on sustainability called the Builder Book Planet Pack, which are currently being distributed across Liverpool.
Thrive
Thrive has built a strong connection with LCVS since 2023, engaging in LCVS Training as well as benefitting from the LCVS Community Impact Fund. The latter has allowed Thrive to pilot their Stronger Futures coaching programme.
