Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Job Reference: 20/10
Hours: 37.5 per week as part of a rota (includes evenings and weekends)
Salary: £16,050.55 per annum plus £82.10 – sleep in payment
Based in: Southport
We are looking for professional, dedicated and experienced support workers who can offer commitment to delivering high quality community based care to service users living in the Sefton/Liverpool area. You will have experience of working with people with mental health and/or learning disability needs. You will need excellent communication skills and be flexible in approach. You will have a positive attitude and be non-judgemental.
It’s essential to the role that you have a committed approach towards maintaining confidentiality, protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.
You should either hold or be willing to work towards NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
