PaSH in Liverpool – LGBT Foundation – Sexual Health Coordinator

The PaSH Partnership is a collaboration between BHA for Equality, George House Trust, and LGBT Foundation.

The PaSH Partnership is looking forward to rolling out a comprehensive programme of interventions to meet the changing needs of people newly diagnosed with HIV, living longer term with HIV or at the greatest risk of acquiring HIV.

The programme will include HIV testing, access to free condoms and lube, a dedicated sexual health website, HIV outreach, and support for adults and children newly diagnosed with HIV or living with HIV longer term.

Job Description

The Sexual Health Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of a comprehensive range of sexual health testing, workshops, training sessions, and interactive activities. This will include a focus on prevention tools (PrEP, PEP, U=U, condoms and lube and regular testing), pleasure (masturbation, sex toys and intimate touch) and healthy relationships (consent, boundaries and negotiation).

You will play an integral role in the writing, delivery and ongoing maintenance of the LGBT Foundation’s Sexual Health community asset mapping strategy for Liverpool. This will include developing activities to support individuals and their communities to determine, mobilise and develop their assets. As part of the strategy, you will recruit, train and support community assets across Liverpool.

The Sexual Health Coordinator will line manage the Sexual Health Officer to ensure that testing, workshops and information stalls are delivered, meeting targets as outlined in their funding agreements.

The Sexual Health Coordinator will represent LGBT Foundation’s Sexual Health team at LGBT partnership and sexual health meetings across Liverpool, forming and maintaining partnerships with local social and support groups, influencers and venues.

You will work closely with the Communications Team and PaSH Partnership colleagues to develop and promote campaigns that highlight the sexual health and well-being needs of LGBT communities. This includes being responsive to localised data and facilitating the co-production of resources and materials that reflect the needs of all LGBT people across Liverpool.
