The Reader Organisation Vacancy: Evaluation Visit Volunteer

Remuneration: Travel and postage expenses will be provided

Length of role: minimum six months

The Reader Organisation is looking for volunteers to visit Shared Reading sessions across your region to collect evaluation data. Sessions will last for approximately 1.5 hours.

The purpose of this work is to:

• Help group members feel connected and listened to by The Reader
• Help The Reader to build the case for Shared Reading

The required time commitment from you is minimum three to four hours per group visit (includes time inputting collected data). The number of groups will vary according to your region, but flexibility across days/times is essential. Groups will need to be visited at least once every six months, on a rolling basis.

You will need to visit groups in their usual settings, and so will be required to travel extensively across your region.
