Workers’ Educational Association Vacancy: Project Coordinator

Salary: Grade C £23,903 – £27,427 pro rata per annum (subject to forthcoming job evaluation and grading process)

Working hours: Part time – 14 hours per week (0.4 FTE)

Contract: Fixed term (until 31 December 2018)

The Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) is seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator. The post-holder will be a key member of WEA North West Region and will have responsibility for coordinating externally funded projects.  These projects are funded over at least different periods and are focused around developing new STEMM curricula, including new teaching and learning resources, that includes the WEA social purpose focus, targeted at grassroots communities. The post-holder will report to the North West’ Business Development Manager.

The post-holder will need to have good project management skills and experience in delivering successful projects within budget. You have experience of working in or alongside the voluntary sector. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Excellent IT and writing and communication skills are essential for this post as well as an understanding of excellent teaching and learning.
